Simultaneous Thermal Analysis (Thermo Gravimetric Analysis)
Introduction:
Thermal studies are used to study the thermal properties of the materials as a function of temperature, while the materials are subjected to a controlled temperature and atmospheric condition. TGA studies include:
- Thermogravimetry analyses (TGA) – change in weight
- Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) – temperature difference
This technique is widely used for polymers, organics, inorganics, metals, alloys, glass, and ceramics materials.
Feature:
- High performance balance and furnace for accuracy and precision
- Top loading balance for easy sample load and unload
- Fast cooling for reduced cycle times and improving productivity
- Integrated mass flow controller extends applications flexibility
TGA Specification:
- Balance type: Top-loading, vertical & differential balance
- Balance Digital resolution: 0.03 μg
- Weighing range: ± 250 mg, max. sample load 1 g
- Temperature Range: Room temperature to 1600°C
- Temperature precision (repeatability): 0.3 K
