Accessing or booking instruments through CIF Vel Tech indicates acceptance of all facility terms and operational policies. - Mandatory Pre-Registration
All users must complete pre-registration on the CIF portal before booking. Valid institutional credentials and approval are required. - Eligibility
Both internal (Vel Tech) and external users (academic, research, industry) are eligible to access the facility. - Booking, Payment & Invoicing
- 100% advance payment is mandatory via the online payment gateway.
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment.
- An online invoice is auto-generated post-payment.
- No physical invoice will be issued.
- Test Scheduling
- All tests/characterizations must be carried out strictly during the booked slot date and time.
- Late arrivals or no-shows will not be accommodated or refunded.
- Usage Compliance
- Users must adhere to equipment SOPs and lab safety standards.
- CIF is not liable for inaccurate results due to user-provided sample issues.
- Damage due to misuse is chargeable.
- Data & Acknowledgment
- Users retain ownership of their test results.
- CIF Vel Tech must be acknowledged in publications using data/results generated at the facility.
- Sample Return via Courier
- If users wish to receive tested samples back, courier charges must be paid separately.
- Jurisdiction
- These terms are governed under the laws of India and Vel Tech institutional regulations.
